I have created this blog to honor my heart, and document it's travels. This new heart came to me at a very difficult time in my life. I have an ache in my chest, and it feels as if it is an ache in my heart. It has had many tears and pain as of late. It is hoping for brighter days. It has also had much joy, but the pain has overshadowed that joy as of late. I shall love and care for this heart, and hope that it will have a very long and happy life.

This is where my new heart was born. In a tiny studio in Salado, Texas. Born from the hands of Peg. She is an amazing glass artist. I love to just sit and watch. I was able to watch her this past weekend create an entire family of hearts. Each and every one made lovingly, and with care, with colors she let me pick out! All of which are beautiful, but none is as touching and as beautiful as mine. Thank you Peg.
